LR Logistics organized a safety awareness session for all bus drivers, led by the Circle Inspector (CI) and Sub-Inspector (SI). The officers emphasized the importance of safe driving practices, especially while handling heavy vehicles. Key points included wearing seat belts, maintaining safe speed limits, following traffic signals, and avoiding the use of mobile phones while driving. Drivers were advised to keep a safe distance from other vehicles, use indicators and mirrors effectively, and remain extra cautious at turns and during overtaking. The importance of regular vehicle checks, including brakes, lights, and tires, was also stressed to prevent breakdowns and accidents. Special attention was given to passenger safety, particularly for women, with instructions to provide respectful and secure travel, maintain discipline inside the bus, and report any suspicious incidents immediately. The session aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among drivers, ensuring not just their own safety but also the safety of passengers and other road users, thereby creating a culture of safe and disciplined bus driving.
